Of rectangular form with hinged coffered lid on small knop feet, the surface covered with polygonal panels of amber, three of the sides with small rectangular panels arranged in stepped rows, the front with a design centred around two lozenges, three sides and the lid with applied raised panels of amber, the front with four fan-motifs in the corners, lock fitting at the front of box, chain to the interior attaching the body and lid, the interior lined with yellow silk
