Gouache heightened with gold on paper, Maharaja Ajit Singh sits upon his grey horse wearing opulent orange robes and with a small falcon perched upon his arm, two footmen follow him, and two birds fly in the cloudy sky above, between yellow, black and white borders on wide red margins, identification inscription in white below, signature on the reverse
