Accompanied by a Certificate with leather case of provenance from Kensington Palace, stating that the property was from the Collection of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowden, dated 13 June 2006.
This watch was sold as lot 81 in the sale of the Property from The Collection of Her Royal Highness the Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowden, held at Christie's King Street, London on Tuesday 13th June 2006. A copy of the two catalogues, volumes I and II, are included with this lot in which there is a photograph of Priness Margaret wearing the watch. The engraved crowned 'M' to the clasp refers to the statement on page 6 in the catalogue that all the lots, where possible, were engraved with such an ownership mark beneath the Princess' Coronet.
