Of rectangular shape, the cover with polychrome enamelled panel depicting "the cupid seller", after the 1763 painting of the French neo-classicist artist Joseph-Marie Vien (1716-1809), now in Musee du Chateau Fontainebleau, framed by a foliate engraved border, the sides and base with engine-turned decoration and black and blue enamelled rim, circa 1820; and a silvergilt snuff-box with octagonal cover with engine-turned violet and white enamelling centering a circular polychrome enamelled scene of lovers, the sides and base decorated with white enamel (2)
