Carved within the natural shape of the horn as a lotus leaf, the handle formed by openwork stalks and a chilong clambering over the edge, the stalks tied with a ribbon and issuing further lotus and millet around the exterior, the side incised with a collector's mark reading shu, the horn of a warm dark brown tone
