SECOND HALF 17TH CENTURY, ANTWERP OR ENGLISH
Woven in silks and wools, depicting a fête champetre with courtly-dresses figures seated at a fountain with formal gardens and a palace beyond, flanked by wooded landscapes with figures bathing in a pool by a grotto, within a floral border decorated with birds and spaniels, reduced in size with sections folded under along left and right and side of field respectively (circa 7 in. (18 cm.) and 8½ in. (22 cm.), losses and restorations
