TURKEY, PERIOD OF ABDULHAMID II (R. 1876-1909)
On six cabriole legs, each decorated with an elaborate undulating floral ornament worked in repoussé up to the edge of the seat, the seat decorated in the same technique with a radiating twelve-branched palmette and acanthus ornament emanating in twisted form from a central rosette, stamped with a toghra of Andulhamid II, silver edging around seat slightly worn, two feet also slightly damaged
