A WORCESTER 'JABBERWOCKY' PATTERN TEA-SERVICE
CIRCA 1765-70, BLUE FRETTED SQUARE SEAL MARKS
Of fluted form, painted in iron-red, blue and green with exotic beasts and stylised foliage within lobed turquoise borders, comprising:
A teapot, cover and stand (chip to rim of cover and finial, rim chip and associated crack to stand)
A sugar-bowl and cover (slight chipping to rims and flower finial)
Two saucer-dishes
Twelve teacups and eleven saucers (one cup cracked, slight chipping to rims)
(some very minor wear to gilding and enamels throughout)
