Of shield shape flanked by gilt angular bracket handles, painted to one side with PALLAS ATHENE SETZT DEN AREOPAG EIN., the other with AUGUSTUS SCHLIESST DEN JANUSTEMPEL, identified below, within gilt beaded surrounds and scrollwork, the sides with military trophies, on a conforming base painted with JUPITER U. CALISTO and VENUS U. ADONIS, raised on four toupie feet
