The 11 in. engraved steel dial with Roman chapters and seconds dial, with stike/silent lever, inscribed Recordon Hr to H.R.H. the DUKE of KENT; within arched hood centered by a star, surmounted by a recumbent lion and with side carrying handles, with brass plaque beneath the dial inscribed PRESENTED BY H.R.H. THE DUKE OF KENT TO THE Reverend Charles Wallington AT EALING, 1820, later feet; the eight day movement with triple fusees, Vulliamy type dead beat escapement, hour strike on bell and quarter chimes on eight bells, holdfast to back plate; pendulum
