Christian, concerning the reception of his article, and 'discovery that W.G. played for Gents of England v Oxford University in 1866 & scored 2 & 0.' This will mean an alteration to 'the tables I sent you.' He encloses 'the complete score card' of the Surrey v. Hampshire match in which 'Abel and Brockie scored 379 for first wicket' [not present], and mentions he will 'be at Lord's the day after tomorrow' hoping 'to see W.G. "knock up a round hundred"'; together with an album of typed correspondence between C.R. Yeomans and G. Neville Weston on their search for Grace memorabilia [1970s]; a typed list of the former's collection; and letters and ephemera connected with Neville Cardus, John Arlott, C.L.R. James and others.
