BOX: the three tier brass-bound box with brass side handles, brass bowl and gimbal DIAL: 95 mm. diameter silvered dial with state of wind and seconds subsidiaries, signed 'GOWLAND & SON/SOUTH CASTLE ST. LIVERPOOL/NO. 387', gold main hands, blued steel seconds (detatched, replaced) MOVEMENT: single chain fusee, Harrison's maintaining power, detent escapement to cut bimetallic balance with blued steel helical spring
