QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each boldy painted on the interior in vibrant cobalt-blue tones to depict an upright dragon, rising in a sinous curl in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', all within scattered cloud scrolls above breaking waves, the angled mouth rim with the exterior low vertical sides, decorated with stylised ruyi-heads, the flat underside with interlocking pomegranates encircling the circular high foot
