A RARE PAIR OF CLOISONNE ENAMEL GILT-METAL JARDINIERES
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each of oblong form, indented at the corners and with straight flaring sides rising to an everted rim, supported on four short bracket feet, enamelled on each face with stylised lotuses borne on curled leafy stems framed by archaistic scrolls, the rims similarly decorated above keyfret around the edge, the base and the underside of the rim with stylised gilt prunus amidst a network of scrolling tendrils, retaining original liners
