Russia, probably 17th century
The hemispherical bowl on a raised circular foot, the body repoussé and chased with scrolling foliage on a stippled ground, the rim engraved with an inscription in old Russian, the interior centring a gilt floral medallion, the shaped flattened pierced handle chased and engraved with stylised rooster's heads and scrolling foliage, apparently unmarked
