18TH CENTURY
Carved in high relief with a bearded Immortal standing holding a staff by a recumbent deer, before boy attendants standing within a wooden platform, with further figures standing to the lower ledges, the mountain of irregular form with layered rock faces, with a large pine tree carved in openwork to one side, the reverse with a crane standing before a waterfall, before further pine trees and with a bird in flight, the stone of a mottled pale celadon tone with minor russet inclusions
