The monk modelled seated, his crouched form hidden by long robes chased with floral sprays of lotus, peony, chrysanthemum, prunus and camellia, the underside incised da Qing Qianlong nian zhi Rehe Xingguan chenshenchu (made during the Qianlong era of the great Qing, for display in the gallery at the summer Palace at Rehe)
