Christies is pleased to offer a second selection of letters, photographs and ephemera from the remarkable Sir Winston S. Churchill Collection of Malcolm S. (Steve) Forbes, Jr., one of the greatest Churchill collections ever assembled. This offering of 26 lots touches on Churchill's many American connections, from his 5th Ave. traffic accident in 1931, his wartime collaboration with F.D.R. and the honorary American citizenship that John F. Kennedy awarded him in 1963.

YOUNG MAN ON THE MAKE. The earliest known caricature, by "Spy" of the newly-elected Member for Oldham, entitled "Winston." The lithograph is by Vincent Brooks Day & Son Ltd, extracted from Vanity Fair of 27 September 1900.
