A ROMAN GOLD DOUBLE CLUB PENDANT
CIRCA 1ST CENTURY A.D.
Composed of two clubs of Hercules, formed of two sheet cones with convex disks at the wider end, with drop-shaped knots along their lengths, each embellished with a granule, terminating together in a single collar at the narrow end, with a ribbed suspension loop above, an iridescent glass cabochon set in a box bezel between the clubs, with filigree and granulation framing the bezel
