(First gathering, including title and portrait, crudely re-margined, light waterstaining at beginning and end, small wormtrack in upper gutter, lightly spotted or soiled.) Contemporary calf, gilt Harbourne armorial on sides (rubbed and a little scuffed, new endpapers). Provenance: [John] Harbourne, Tackley, Oxon (High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 1632; binding) -- George Sandys (pencil inscription at end dated 1673) -- John Y. Sandys (inscription at front dated October 5th, 1844; bookplate) -- Peter Cary (inscription on endpaper, dated 1944).
