A Chinese Batavian ware chocolate pot and cover
Qianlong (1936-1795)
Decorated with leaf-shaped panels of ladies and smaller floral roundels, the chocolate brown ground embellished with gilt scrollwork
22 cm. high
Together with a Dutch silver tripod stand and lamp, on three ivory ball feet, maker's mark CF, 12 cm. diam.; and a silver bucket-shaped tea-strainer, marks indistinct, 3 cm. high (2)
