This present lot was released in honour of the famous Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montaya and its visual characteristics pay a carefully considered homage to the world of high performance high speed engines - the chronograph pushers mimic air-intake cooling flaps, the bezel screws are styled like cylinder head screws, the winding crown represents a wheel axle, the winding rotor of the movement is shaped like a clutch disk, the strap resembles the padded racing suits of the drivers, the textured dial apes the curves of a race track and the carbon fibre bezel is the same material as the chassis of a racing car.
