Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2003 and its subsequent sale on May 22nd, of the same year. Further accompanied by an undated Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, leather presentation box, leather portfolio with color image of the 5102G, reference and technical specification sheets and instructions and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe introduced the Celestial reference 5102 in 2002 and it initially was made in white gold only. It is believed that approximately 500 timepieces were manufactured. The firm expanded the Celestial collection with a yellow gold example introduced in 2008 and a pink gold and platinum verison in 2009.
