the pair of engravings with drypoint, circa 1470s, both watermark Crown in a Circle, later impressions, trimmed inside the platemark but well outside the subject, just touching the subject at the right edge of the right sheet, the left sheet with a small backed hole in the drapery of the man at left, a stain at lower right, another, smaller stain at the top of the staff at right, some other minor stains and vertical central folds to both sheets, the right sheet inscribed .MAR.AN. at lower left
