EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The cresting centred with a spread eagle on scrolling acanthus leaves with chains clasped in his beak the circular mirror plate surrounded with ball decoration in a reeded slip, the two pairs of branches formed as sphynx heads terminating in cut-glass sconces
