A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SATINWOOD BOOKCASES
IN THE GEORGE III STYLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each with a moulded cornice above a pair of urn-pattern astragal glazed doors containing an arrangement of eight adjustable velvet-lined shelves, one with shelves to the lower cupboard interior, the other containing four graduated drawers and five slides, on bracket feet, each of the slides inscribed to the undersides 'TB' in pencil, the drawer handles stamped 'COPE', the feet built-up approximately 1/2 in. to each bracket
