Each with a rope-twist turned toprail and a carved and inlaid tablet splat; the striped silk covered drop-in seat above sabre legs, various faint pencil inscriptions to the seat rails

Acquired by Sir Sydney Barrett from Leonard Kerridge, London, June 1927 for Summerhill, Staffordshire and later installed at Crowe Hall, Bath, 1961 and by descent.
