First Half 19th Century
Soft black buckskin lined with dark blue silk trade cloth and beaded on the vamp and heel with a stylized symmetrical foliate design in white heart red, white, blue, translucent green, gold, and pink. The cuff is trimmed in blue silk trade cloth with a single row of white beads at the edge. European leather soles.
