The exterior in red Morocco leather with gilt-tooled borders, mounted with pierced engraved foliate and anthemion clasps to corners and with urn-shaped lock-plate engraved with interlaced C cypher within a sheild, the concertina-action interior in green silk and green Morocco leather with monthly dividers; Dutch import marks to corner mounts
