Oval, the raised stand on four paw feet with gadrooned border, the centre with flowerhead and anthemion band, the tureen on spreading gadrooned foot, with similar flower and anthemion band to the stem and border, the fluted handles terminating in serpent heads, the raised cover with detachable intertwined serpent ring-handle rising from matted acanthus foliage and with applied Royal arms, with detachable two-handled parcel-gilt liner, marked on stand, tureen and liner
