POSSIBLY BALTIC, CIRCA 1750, MAKER'S MARK PK A FLOWER BETWEEN
Shaped oval, with moulded border with shells at intervals and flat-chased with foliage and rocaille ornament on matted ground, engraved twice with coat-of-arms, with apparently replaced centre, engraved with scratchweight 11 MK 7L 3Q, struck twice with maker's mark on the reverse of the border

Lot Essay

The coat-of-arms is that of Otto Friedrich von Bruemmer, Oberhofmarshall, born in 1690 in Waiskull, Estonia, who died in Wismar in 1752.
