Shaped oval with beaded spiral rat-tail flutes, sides pierced with scrollwork and quatrefoils, shell, scroll and gadroon border, openwork rococo feet and swing handle pierced with diaperwork and terminating in "S" scrolls, centre of basket engraved with large crest of a demi-lion rampant, holding in it's forepaws a halberd
