In the Louis XIV style, the snuffers engraved on one side with the coat-of-arms in foliage and initials IP, the shaped oblong stand with gadrooned border and scroll handle, the centre with two supports, similarly engraved

The coat-of-arms is that of Beget for Marcellin de Beget, Seigneur du Flachat et de Cublaize, maire du Puy, who married Louise de Saignhard.
