See Louis L. Lipski and Michael Archer, Dated English Delftware, London, 1984, pp. 61-62, nos. 205, 210 and 215 for plates dated 1695 (excavated in Lambeth), 1697 and 1698, each with a variant Chinoiserie border similar in spirit to that found on the present dish.
