Canon en fer gravé de volutes au tonnerre, platine à corps plat avec signature et queue arrondie, le chien ciselé de volutes, crosse et fût sculptés de volutes en faible relief, garnitures en laiton, écusson en argent augmenés de pâtes colorées, baguette en fer postérieure; on y joint un pistolet d'arçon à la miquelet turc, garnitures en laiton.

Early 19th century
With swamped iron barrel engraved with scrollwork at the breech, flat lock with 'signature' and rounded tail, the cock chiselled with scrollwork, full stock carved in low relief with scrollwork on the fore-end, brass mounts, silver escutcheon heightened with coloured pastes, and later iron ramrod ; together with a Turkish miquelet-lock holster pistol, with brass mounts.
