Northwest Wind depicts the rugged Maine coast of Great Spruce Head Island in Penobscot Bay, where the Porter family home stood.

This lot is being sold by the Honorable Ethel J. Griffin, New York County Public Administrator, by the authority given her under Letters of Administration issued by the Surrogates Court of the State of New York, County of New York. No claim has been asserted by any person or entity contesting the Estates ownership of this work.
