Ming dynasty, 16th-17th Century
After an archaic bronze form, potted with a globular mid-section, surmounted by a flaring trumpet neck and raised on a spreading base overhanging the footrim, incised overall with scrolling lotus, covered in a green glaze thinning towards the rim, glaze crackled, small rim chips, firing crack to base
