A large Chinese famille rose moon flask
19th Century
The shoulders applied with moulded gilt scroll handles, each side with a large roundel below the gilt character shou, one enclosing dignitaries seated at a table, surrounded by attendants, the other painted with peacocks in an abundant flower garden, all reserved on a pink ground embellished with scrolling flowers and pomegranate, the sides with a further gilt shou character, some glaze frits, some wear to the enamels
