Struck with unidentified maker's mark BR in shield only, probably Frisia, second half 17th Century
The trunk-shaped rectangular casket with a hinged domed cover, on four ball supports, the front and cover engraved with roundels of a lady and a gentleman, the sides each with a flaming heart, the reverse with scrolling flowers, with swing handle, damages, marked on base
