Case of typical form with silvered circular glazed frames to the sides, hinged movement cover to the underside with bell, on six turned baluster feet, silvered chapter ring set into a foliate engraved surround, brass hands and alarm setting disc to the centre, chain fusee for the going train with verge escapement, single barrel for the strike and alarm train, pierced and engraved balance cock, backplate signed JOH. F. GEIGER A LANSALTZA
