A Copper-red-decorated Porcelain Waterdropper in the Form of a House
Joseon dynasty (late 19th century)
Modelled in the form of an L-shaped house of two rectangular wings with ribbed and flared roofs, the sides incised with squares to indicate windows and brushed with underglaze copper oxide and the roof articulated with lines of copper red; spout at one corner of roof and airhole in the top center; flat base unglazed
3½in. (9cm.) diagonal diameter across roof; 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high
