A thankga of Amitabha Sukhavati
Tibet, 15th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base over a peacock throne, holding a Vase of Amrita and wearing red, orange and green patchwork robes, backed by a halo and torana highlighted by gilt pastiglia, surrounded by a multitude of buddhas, bodhisattvas, monks and attendants.
