The rectangular cover lifting to reveal a shallow tray above a pair of paneled doors opening to reveal five drawers of varying sizes enclosing a central compartment beneath a shaped apron, the sides set with bail handles, and the front with quatrelobe lockplate and ruyi-head clasp, all above a shaped apron at the front, the cabinet finely inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the top, sides, rear and interior with floral sprays and on the doors with pavilions amidst an elaborate waterscape
