A GREENISH-WHITE JADE CENSER AND COVER
Of three-part form, raised on four cabriole legs issuing from stylized masks and carved in low relief around the sides with a band of stylized taotie masks below a wide, everted rim carved in high relief with pairs of dragons, set with a pair of large dragon-head loop handles suspending loose rings divided by six smaller handles also suspending loose rings, the elaborate openwork cover composed of two tiers pierced with a continuous design of lotus amidst foliate scrolls and set with animal head handles, all surmounted by a similarly carved globular finial, the semi-translucent stone of even greyish-white tone with a few small russet inclusons
