MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
Of oblong form, finely carved with an egret in flight against a background of fine tendrils rising from waves below and terminating in a lotus leaf and pod, all within a beaded border, the whole set in a gilt-metal belt fitting with a loop and hook on the underside
