The central roundel with a dragon and phoenix confronted around sprays of peony, the cavetto decorated with six reserves of birds and butterflies amidst floral sprays beneath a border of ruyi heads at the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with rockwork and flowers continuing inside the tall foot, the whole reserved on a gilt wan draper ground
