Full-length miniatures by this artist are rare. A signed and dated oval example depicting Lady Macleod seated with a book in a landscape, painted in Calcutta in 1787 is in the Victoria and Albert Collection (see M. Archer, India and British Portraiture 1770-1825, London, 1979, p. 33, plate 315).
