GLOBE EN RELIEF PAR THURY & BELNET GÉOGRAPHES, AUTEURS, ÉDITEURS, DIJON. Lith. Richard Dijon, 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter table relief globe made up of two sets of twelve chromolithographed raised gores and two polar calottes, the applied equatorial with divisions for degrees but unlabelled, the meridian of Paris similarly shown, the oceans with numerous raised islands, the continents with raised areas and coloured in green and yellow and showing towns, cities, rivers and the Great Wall of China; with a brass hour dial at the North Pole, raised on an tapering cast-bronze support, to an ebonised and turned column and stepped circular plinth base.
