INDIA, DATED AH 1087/1676-77 AD
Of shallow circular form, with wide everted rim, the surface decorated with a central roundel with swirling arabesques surrounded by a band of fish, each with two tails and alternated with small flowereads, the rim with a band of alternating long and short cartouches containing arabesques and palmettes, one of the long cartouches with owner's name and date, minor bands of quatrefoil motifs above and below, tinning well preserved
