A LARGE OTTOMAN SILVER TRAY
TURKEY, PERIOD OF 'ABDULHAMID II (1876-1909 AD)
Of oval form with raised rim, the tray with engraved central medallion composed of scrolling feathery tendrils issuing leaves, the ground with repeated ogival motifs, the rim worked in repoussé with repeating leaf-motifs, each end with an applied cast handle formed of scrolling leafy motifs, each element marked with a tughra and a sah, some surface scratching
30¼in. (76.5cm.) long
